Malabanan guide
How to prevent clogged toilets, sinks and floor drains
Most clogs we clear come from the same few causes. Changing a few habits saves you from a barado na CR — and saves you money.

Kitchen sink (lababo)
- Never pour cooking oil or grease into the sink
- Scrape plates into the trash before washing
- Use a sink strainer and empty it daily
- Run hot water after washing oily dishes
Toilet (inidoro)
- Flush only human waste and toilet paper
- No wipes, napkins, diapers, cotton or plastic — even if labeled "flushable"
- Keep a small trash bin with a lid in every CR
Floor and shower drains
- Use a hair catcher on shower drains
- Clean the drain cover regularly
- Do not sweep sand, soil or construction debris into floor drains
When to call a Malabanan
If plunging does not work, if water comes back up another drain, or if several drains clog at the same time, the blockage is deeper in the pipe. Avoid strong chemicals — they can damage pipes and are dangerous for the person who later works on the line. Our electric declogging machines reach the blockage and remove it.
